Alan Armstrong
Born Chesterfield UK in 1946 and brought up in the Derbyshire mining village of Killamarsh, I was the son of devout Methodist parents.
My years in industry involved auto-electrical work on heavy earth-moving machinery. At the age of 46 years I took teacher training and qualified as a further education lecturer and NVQ Assessor / External Verifier. My work, until retirement, covered special support needs students, excluded school children and industry based learning and assessment to Level 3. I now spent my time writing, travelling, gardening and socialising with good friends. No religion controls my life but I have a firm belief in God.
All worthwhile achievements were made possible by my partner Sue White. She gave encouragement with flexibility on freedom.
