A line from Oscar Wilde's poem from Reading Goal "And all men kill the thing they love..." provides a prophecy that Harry and Sethuran ultimately fulfil. "All men are killers" is also Sethuran's ironic observation to Harry a successful but depressed Australian business man who, for the first time in his life is exposed to real life trauma and unrealistically decides he can help. Sethuran's morbid view of man's character has been impressed upon him by his experiences of the war in Sri Lanka and what it has done to his people. Sethuran has left behind his mother Enthaya, and brother and sister Najan and Esara. Najan, like many young Tamils, has been unwillingly enlisted into the Liberation of Tigers of Tamil Eelan (LTTE) which prevents their legal immigration and Sethuran is forced to enlist Jock a laconic Aussie with shady connections to bring them to Australia by sea as asylum seekers. For this new release Australian royalties for 6 months will be donated to a charity for humanitarian support for refugee children in care.
