Anders Wennerstrom

Anders Wennerstrom started writing poems in his late teenage years, but it was as an actor and performance artist that his artistic life took speed. After some years with acting and performance studies in Denmark he went to Norway and Oslo and participated in the Norwegian-Swedish performance group Force Majeure for another couple of years. However, in 2003 at around thirty he went back to his place of origin in Sweden and started at long journey on different universities. This experience made his writing to a possibility for him, since he hadn't seen his writing as accurate as his acting before many years of theoretical studies. He published his first book of poetry in 2010 and this book is called "Möten- en bildningsresa", which in an English translation is "Meeting- a Journey in Education". Even if writing now where his main concern, he went to Dublin in Ireland and did a Master of Philosophy course at Trinity College in theatre and performance. As the theatre studies was a good flashback, the writing still continued and he wrote a poetry book in English called Another Side of Thoughts and it was published by Xlibris Corporation. As he wrote his dissertation over summer 2012 successfully, he also got this text with the title Beasts in The Theatre of Marina Carr published by a German publication house with the name Lambert Academic Publishing in winter 2013. Still, one text needed more attention from what he wrote in Dublin and that was his play written in the advanced playwrighting class at Trinity. Trafford publishing contacted him in summer 2013 while Anders was in Dublin to celebrate his exam while he also took language classes. After several editings and the finishing of another writing project, that had started during spring 2013 in Sweden, that the book fusion between a play and long poem could see the light in autumn the same year. This book we talk about here is called Six Seconds from a Shot.
