Baroness Von Smith

Baroness Melody Von Smith is an environmental chemist who has long suffered the Midnight Disease. She wrote her first short story when she was six; everybody died at the end. It was a comedy.

She has a long history of writing for stage, screen, and print. Notable credits include Smithsonian Magazine, First Place in the 2001 San Diego Writer’s Monthly Writing Contest for her short story “Milk Cartons,” and honorable mention for her stage play EATS! in the 2010 Writer’s Digest Awards.

She has lived in State College, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, and done significant time in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. She currently keeps an uneasy peace in Upstate New York guarded by a stripey orange monster and loyal only to the jolly roger.

She can be found at BaronessVonSmith.com

She can also be found (albeit reluctantly) on Face Book. (Melody Von Smith)
