Barry Stone
Born in 1958, Barry Stone lives near Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. An award winning writer and community arts activist, he self published his homophobia-themed 'dogtastic tail' Barking At Winston, in late 2010. One year later the book was published by the Constable wing of Constable & Robinson Ltd. Dating back to 1795, Constable is the UK's oldest independent publisher. A lieflong dog lover, Barry partly attributes his good health to the many thousands of miles he has covered whilst walking Honey, brilliant Brucie, goatie Pickles and splendid Sam. Barry and Paul his partner of thirty years have a young Lab called Bonzo who loves to nick socks.
