Verona, Italy, struggled with vicious sword fights and certain death for over one hundred years due to the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets. In Benvolio, the children of these two enemies are resolved to end it. Hidden deep in the sycamore grove on the outskirts of Verona, Benvolio Montague and Rosaline Capulet meet in secret. He can't hide his love for Rosaline any longer and needs to find a way to end this fight so a Montague can love a Capulet. Benvolio witnesses Romeo fall in love with Lord Capulet's daughter, Juliet. Realizing that their love could end the fighting, he secretly helps Romeo marry Juliet. But it is blood that fills the streets of Verona, not love. And Benvolio realizes his benevolent actions have set in motion the lamentable tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
