Buzzy Martin
Buzzy Martin has been performing music, teaching at-risk-youth, speaking and mentoring for many years and has shared the stage with members of Sammy Hagar, The Doobie Brothers, Huey Lewis and The News, Sammy Kershaw, Bob Seger, Journey, Leon Russell, Pam Tillis and many others. Speaking and performing in front of large crowds and being able to be personable is a talent, and one that Buzzy definitely has a gift for.
Buzzy Martin is the author of the Award Winning Penguin/Berkley book Don’t Shoot! I'm the Guitar Man (my Penguin book is about my teaching a music program to inmates at San Quentin State Prison & incarcerated youth at Juvenile Hall) and the German version Live Aus San Quentin (by Irisiana an imprint of Random House). Also, available is a lesson plan for educators and students through Penguin Books at no cost. It’s given Buzzy the opportunity to share his incredible message of Education Not Incarceration through his book and his music to students and educators around the world.
