Jacob, a new kid in Pete and Cadin's school, is bullied by the rest of the students because he is overweight and not very good at sports or studies. Pete and Cadin believe Jesus wants them to be a friend to Jacob and eventually learns that Jacob has lived with many foster families and has no family of his own. Eventually through his new friendships, Jacob finds courage in a relationship with Jesus. Jacob's foster parents also meet Jesus and arrange to adopt Jacob. Jacob's new joy and encouragement eventually help him play and win a soccer game!
