Captain Tex Searle
I live in Atria, a Senior Living Center, located in Sandy, Utah. All the senior pilots, except one, that contributed stories for my book, The Golden Years of Flying, are now gone. I miss them terribly, but their wonderful stories will live on. After about 25 years, I've just completed a fictional manuscript about 3 old codgers who struggled to return to those days when airplanes made sounds like real airplanes. Of course, the airplane they hijacked was the Grand Ole' Lady, a DC-3 they named Bessie. I'm currently looking for a publisher.
