Cara van Miriah
Cara is a Singapore-based book author. The former newspaper journalist has written six pop and culture books in Singapore, such as Zouk: Once Upon A Time, No.5 Cocktail Bar and Nightlife [Confidential]. She is the co-creator of the quarterly series Nightlife [Confidential]. The books take a fun, light-hearted look at the colorful characters you meet in Singapore's vibrant party scene.
Cara, a former nightlife correspondent with The Straits Times, has won local/regional journalism awards. In 2007, she was instrumental in leading a three-man team in an investigative news report, which earned an Honorable Mention for Excellence in Human Rights Reporting from the Society of Newspaper Publishers Asia for Editorial Excellence (Hong Kong).
