Carol L. McCleary
Carol L. McCleary was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1960; moved to Moncton, New Brunswick with her family when she was five; and has lived there ever since. Her love of the written word was instilled in her from a very young age and she started writing poetry at age thirteen. She is a mother of two and a grandmother of three and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family. She and Tom, her husband of 33 years share a love of travelling; enjoying the art, history and architecture of different countries. Her main passion though, remains with writing and her lifelong dream has always been to be a published author.
The idea for Daddy's Girl fist formulated in her mind as a teenager, when a neighbour's baby died of 'Crib Death'. It was an incident that affected her deeply and stuck with her.
