In the mid-20th century, the majority of Cuba's population were uneducated, starving, poor, and void of any hope or dreams. Two sons of Cuba are tasked with generating the ingredient that would restore their brothers and sisters' faith. Money! Angel Heavon and Emmanuel Cabrera are Cuban patriots that will give anything, including their souls, to see their homeland mentioned in the same breath as other world powers. But how can these men generate the billions of dollars needed to construct a nation, by using the one natural resource Americans cannot do without, Cocaine. In the 1980's, New Orleans became a 'killing fields' and the home of a drug empire that gave economic individuality to a poor island nation. This is their story.
