Helen Hickok
Helen Hickok grew up on a Midwest farm. She loved to read, and developed an early interest in writing fiction. She later attended Michigan State College where she majored in English and Literature and graduated with honor.
Then as a wife and mother, while living in several states, she pursued her writing. After her family settled in Southern California, she returned to academia where she earned her Masters in English and a teaching credential. She then taught English courses in community college, and creative writing at a private university over many years.
Some of Helen's novels and short stories have been published as paperbacks. Those include Leaf of Freedom, Friends in Need, Short Stories and The Search for Tara. These were recently converted to E-books as well.
