A friend told me about this book as we were talking out our kids and I wanted to do things with mine that were different and we could have fun together. After I got the book and read it (easy read) it was so eye opening that there could be so many things the author made up to do with his kids! Awesome August Adventure Day, Opposite Day, and Slurpee Day are ones we have already done and with over 50 others, I am not sure we can do all of them, but we are going to try! I used to read to my kids each night, but this book has bed times songs, traditions to get extra hugs (love those) and so many other things that my kids are demanding them now AND telling THEIR friends how great a Dad I am...
The author writes about making kids childhoods the best ever. I think he is helping me do just that! 5 stars for sure!
