Rescue Me is a drama involving a young teenage girl, Zoey, who has found herself tangled and trapped in the grip of addiction to a seriously dangerous drug. It all started when Zoey was feeling empathy for a group of kids who were being neglected. Zoey decides to reach out to the less-popular crowd, and in return she is faced with peer pressure, a downward spiral of drug abuse, the condemnation of her parents as well as her friends, and the battle it takes to get free. With the belittling criticism of her parents, because Zoey has become someone that they didn't raise her to be, the judgment of everyone around her, and the pain felt from her backstabbing friends, she has to make a decision. If all that isn't enough the loss of someone close to her leaves her traumatized, and she is given a very important message. With that she has realized that she must regain control of her life before it's too late.
