James Floyd
James Floyd was born in Louisville, Kentucky but raised in Huntsville, Alabama.
As a child, James had a great love for science fiction movies/programs. Shows like Lost in Space, Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century, and Battle Star Galactica were regularly watched each week. It was this childhood love of science fiction and the great beyond that laid the foundation for the Galactic Warriors series.
James, who is a big believer in a good education, received his high school diploma from S.R. Butler High School (Huntsville,Alabama). After graduation, he spent the next 12 years of his life with traveling to various countries, marriage/divorce, and overall trying to find his walk in life.
In 2003 James enrolled at Virginia College of Huntsville majoring in Business Managment/Spanish. He received his Bachelors degree in 2007. During the course of his travels and while enrolled in college, James studied the languages of Japanese, Tagalog, and Spanish. He has often quoted the line from Rodney Dangerfield "A man without an education is nothing." Because of this James speaks 4 languages.
In 2009 Galactic Warriors was rejected by 14 but finally was published in that same year. Since then there have been 3 other releases in the Galactic Warriors. Including the recent release of Galactic Warriors Baltic Invasion (2013).
James now resides in Hazel Green, Alabama and currently working on his masters degree in Management/Foreign language studies
