John C. Caiazza
John C. Caiazza Ph.D. is currently Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at Rivier University. Caiazza received his college degrees from Boston College and Boston University, majoring in philosophy. He has been a middle school teacher and college instructor and was for a long time a college administrator. He is a long-time contributor of articles and reviews to intellectual journals including Modern Age and Zygon. Since his retirement, Caiazza has written several articles including two on virtue ethics, and several books including most recently The Disunity of American Culture. His writing has a contrarian yet traditionalist aspect; his interests include religion, science, culture and politics. Caiazza lives in New Hampshire with wife, Jo; they have a grown son, Paul. Caiazza is currently working on a ms. about the history of science and the return to philosophy.
