Kristin Battista-Frazee
I'm an author, marketing professional and social worker. My memoir, The Pornographer's Daughter, will be available in September of 2014 (Skyhorse Publishing) and I am a marketing consultant at 2U, Inc. to support their work in bringing degree programs from top universities online.
I started my career as a geriatric social worker and parlayed my interest in improving people's lives into legislative and communications work on Capitol Hill. I also served in many marketing and communications' roles at advocacy organizations dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and improving policies to support behavioral health providers.
I was a contributor to The Daily Beast and published articles about the adult industry and the controversy surrounding pornography. I'm a Florida native currently living in the Washington, D.C. area with my husband and daughter. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Columbia University with a Master of Science in Social Work Degree.
