This technique was taught to Steven by the late Paul Chosse. It allows you to do either a perfect In-Faro or Out-Faro.

This is a side steal from a spread rather than a squared up deck. It combines ideas from Ed Marlo and the deliberate steal and Jack MacMillen. You will also learn how to side steal a face up card including a cover deck turn motion which will make this completely invisible.

Personally I find any trick using a swastica not a particularly good idea today, because the swastica is loaded with meaning not necessarily appropriate for entertainment. But we should not forget that this manuscript was originally written in the 1940s.

The gem in my opinion is the last effect, "The All Clear Card Transformation."

Balancing objects is part of visual magic. Many magicians try to make it clean and beautiful. M.O.Balance is a new approach to the effect of balance. Three very visual and simple effects.

Hand Balance: You make a card stand flat on your hand.

Angle Balance: The corner of a card balances on your index finger.

Balancing Cigarette: A very crazy and brain-breaking trick. You balance a card, and also balance a cigarette on the card.

Visual and practical effects are rarely combined into one trick. Hallucination is a very practical and visual trick. Imagine you draw 4 points on a playing card, after which you shake the deck and they line up, and that’s not all, you shake the deck again and the points completely disappear.

Imagine the viewer selects a card (forced). You take the card box, remove a card and with one wave of your hand the card turns into a candy box. You open it and there is the viewer's card.

To construct the gimmick you will need elastic thread.

Visual movement of holes on a playing card.

Show a playing card which has random holes in it. This is best done by putting it in front of a light source, such as your phone's screen. In an instant the holes rearrange to something meaningful. It could be a simple image, the name of a card, a spectator name, a date, anything you can think of. It is a great way to reveal a prediction.

You put your finger through a large square cut out of a blue-backed playing card. Instantly the card turns red and the hole you just saw fingers go through somehow no longer exists. The black hole is now just a piece of black tape that is peeled off of the card. A real visual puzzle!
