Dennis Barlotta, aka D. Angelo Ferri, was a long-time student of Slydini and is today the most authentic and respected teacher of magic the Slydini way. In this set of two videos, he will teach a classic of magic, the Coins Through the Table exactly how Slydini performed it. It requires six silver coins and one contrasting coin, a copper coin, a ring, or similar.

Dennis will teach you not only the mechanics and sleights but also the tempo, the script, and the details of the psychology. All of these factors come together into a beautiful deception.

Daniel teaches four card changes - so called color changes:

• The Fan Change
• The Wheel Change
• The Swing Change
• Delusion

The Fan Change
This is what Daniel considers to be a signature color-change and it is one of his favorites. A card is turned face up on top of the deck. The deck is fanned and before the fan closes the face up card has changed to another card.

The fan change is impromptu, it can be performed with any deck of cards and isn't hard to achieve. To stub a misconception...the top card is not being taken away from...

A freely chosen card levitates on top of the deck. Then another card is passed under the levitating card to prove that there is no connection at all, you can look through and see that it is in the air.

Please note that the explanation video has no verbal explanation. It includes a couple of inserted lines of text, and the rest is purely a visual explanation. Building the gimmick will require some time and effort, and you will most likely have to buy some supplies, but it is not particularly difficult to make.

You, a spectator, a deck of cards, a miracle!

A spectator shuffles a deck of cards, you instruct them to hold the cards face up, under the table, so that only they can see them. Despite these test conditions, you apparently display a genuine feat of 'remote viewing' by attempting to name each card in turn, as if you are somehow able to 'see through the table'. With an accuracy way beyond the odds you are able to prove to your audience that they are witnessing a real demonstration of 'psychic' ability and what you claim to be true, must be possible.

Possibly the world's funniest card trick!

A spectator is asked to assist on stage with a card trick. Both he and the magician wear a paper bag blindfold over their heads as a card is attempted to be selected. Eventually a large knife is introduced into the routine that the magician intends to stab through the selected card when the spectator is instructed to toss the entire jumbo deck into the air. Based on the old 'Fred' card trick, Wolfgang launched his magician fooling version 'Fred Outdone' in 1990, causing a sensation amongst magicians and adding a unique twist in that the whole deck could be shown as a red back deck, except for the Fred card. In 2017 Wolfgang took the trick to new heights, hence the new 'Fred Outdone Squared' title.
