Marcas Major
I am Marcas Major which is a pseudonym so my readers don't confuse my boundary stretching, non-fiction books with my cute "Tickles the Bear" children's books published under my real name Marcel Pighin.
I was born in Kimberley, BC Canada. I have a Fisheries Management degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University in Seattle and MCSE/MCDBA certifications from Microsoft. I worked at Boeing 19 years and Microsoft 16 years in Information Technology as a Systems Analyst and Microsoft SQL Server DBA and SQL Server Support Engineer.
I am now happily retired and live in Bellevue, WA at the age of 59 1/2.
My self-publishing business is MP2ME Enterprise.
Hobbies include watercolor painting, snow skiing and travel.
