Martine Rothblatt PhD
Martine Rothblatt is an information technologist and biotechnologist who has created satellite communications systems that communicate with mobiles and pharmaceutical therapies for rare and neglected diseases. She is also an author of books on gender fluidity, geopolitics and organ transplantation. Her most recent patent is for a "mental wheelchair" cybertechnology to assist Alzheimer's patients. She has law and MBA degrees from the University of California, and a Ph.D. in Medical Ethics from the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
