This is an impromptu and propless mentalism routine which is a lot of fun to do. It works best in a one on one situation where you are performing to a new acquaintance whom you have met for the very first time.
With this routine you prove to the participant that her mobile number and her birth year (both of which you have no way of knowing since you met the participant for the very first time just then) are somehow associated in a mysterious way. The participant will be utterly amazed with this unexpected revelation.
There are multiple payoffs in this routine. A new acquaintance gets converted to a fan of your mentalism skills. That participant also ends up with a nice souvenir along with your contact details. And you end up with the contact details of that participant.
This is almost self working. No sleights, no pre show, no stooges, very easy to do and can be performed within 10 minutes of reading the instructions. Presentation theme, patter and script are included. Of course, you can also give it your own spin. You will enjoy performing this.
"I'm a fan of the Magic Square but I hardly ever do it close-up. This is a good effect to do it close-up. I like how you put everything together." - Mark Piazza
