Three unusual gimmicks for PK mysteries.
This is Gerard's take on the classic bending spoon effect, but just between two fingers: the spoon visually melts. You will need to buy something you won't find in magic stores. (It will cost you just a few dollars.)
A borrowed beer mat is torn and folded in half by a spectator. The performer writes "ALCOHOL BREATH ANALYZER" on it. The beer mat will bend when approaching a pint of beer or a glass of wine but not with a glass of water for instance! Very versatile method that can be very useful and bring something visual to your existing routines to find cards, water, magnetic fields, heat, light, alcohol, coins, etc... Can be done with business cards, post cards, playing cards, beer mats, etc.... right under the spectator's eyes.
Included is another method from Julian Mather with his kind permission.
With this little gimmick, you will be able to make borrowed objects move suddenly even though you are far away and even though they can be under a transparent bowl. You will need to buy the gimmick separately (very rare but rather cheap, sold in only one place in the world but shipped all over the world). No wires, no magnets, no electronics. What else could it be?
