Formerly: Director of Education, Spiro Institute; Head of Humanities and Principal Lecturer in History, the City Literary Institute; Member of Faculty, Leo Baeck College; Classics & English Master, University College School; Visiting 'Professor', Queen's University (Ontario); Senior Tutor & Head of Classics, Sussex House School.
Widely published author, including 3 books The Nazi Holocaust: its history and meaning, Studying the Holocaust: issues, readings and documents and The Seven Deadly Sins: a companion. He has lectured in numerous universities on four continents. Also wrote & directed educational film 'The Face of Jewish Socialism'. He was also editor-in-chief of 'Christians, Jews and the after-effects of the Holocaust: the Oxford conference revisited'.
