In this audio recording he tries to teach you how to develop your own psychic abilities.

Here is the original back cover text:

Dr. David Hoy, one of America's foremost authorities on extrasensory perception, is a scholar of extraordinary psychic capacity. He has conducted a lifetime study of mind-to-mind communication and is world-renowned for his ESP experiences and research conducted under scientific conditions. He is also the author of several books on ESP, read by a large following in seven languages.

Dr. Hoy's astonishing predictions have been well documented and proven to be 85% accurate. David Hoy predicted Bobby Goldsboro's smash hit recording of "Honey" weeks before either of them ever heard of the song! Sixty days before the Silver Bridge collapsed into the Ohio River near Point Pleasant, W. Va., in 1967, David Hoy predicted the disaster on a taped program at radio station KDKA in Pittsburgh. Two years before Jackie Kennedy and Aristotle Onassis were wed, David Hoy predicted the match on Boston radio and TV! Two weeks before the assassination of Sen. Robert Kennedy, David Hoy predicted at Tusculum College in Greenville, Tenn., that Kennedy would win the California primary but that it would be fraught with tragedy! In January of 1969, David Hoy predicted that because of personal tragedy, Sen. Ted Kennedy would not run for the presidency in 1972!

Dr. Hoy's methods of predicting future events are recounted in this monumental recording. His vast experieince in the realm of extrasensory perception uniquely qualifies him to tell others how to awaken their psychic faculties and develop their own extrasensory potential. This album is the most explicit and interesting presentation of ESP development I have come across in my eight years of psychic study.

Ronald E.

Sanda Panda Mystery Box

The Sanda-Panda Mystery Box is an ungimmicked 6"x 4" cardboard box. It is always in full view and gives you the ability to make near impossible predictions. No pre-show work and all are ONE-MAN effects. No secret assistants or stooges are used in any of the effects. NO FORCES of any kind are used in any effect.

IMPOSSIBLE CARD PREDICTION: Two participants form a card to ensure the choice is random. One chooses the suit and the other the value with no restrictions. You take the lid off the box - inside is a deck of cards and a folded 8" x 5" piece of paper. The participant unfolds the paper. Written on it is THE CARD JUST NAMED IS IN POSITION 14 FROM THE TOP. The participant removes the deck and counts down to the 14th card from the top. It is the same card just formed at random. No switches or sleights used. The participant takes out the paper and deck from the box. THE PERFORMER DOES NOT STICK HIS HAND INSIDE THE BOX, NOR DOES HE TOUCH THE PAPER OR DECK!

LADYLOVE: The closed box is on a table in full view. Any man stands and is asked to tell you the first name of his wife or girlfriend. Assume he says, "Sandy." He comes forward and takes out a rose from
inside the box. ATTACHED to the rose is a note that reads, "Give this rose to Sandy." This is an amazing, but romantic bit of business that is very strong and involves no pre-show work. The magician never
touches the flower or note. Everything can be left for examination.

UNCANNY BOOK TEST: A small book is inside the closed box. Anyone calls out a page number. Another participant comes up and takes the book out of the box. He turns to the page number just named, looks at the first word on the page and reads it aloud. You instruct him to take out the folded paper from the box and unfold it. Written on it is the word he just read aloud. Baffling beyond words!

If the performer wishes, any of the above predictions can be INSIDE AN ENVELOPE that is inside the box. This adds yet another layer of mystery to the effect.

DEAL OR NO DEAL: The performer says that he took a picture earlier of what is inside the box. In the picture is a hundred-dollar bill wrapped around a deck of cards and one folded playing card. The performer says he folded the card so the person cannot see what it is. The performer offers to play a game of chance with the participant. All the participant has to do to win the $100.00, is to select any
card which is NOT the same as the folded card inside the box. His odds are 51 out 52 of winning the money.

A deck of cards is spread face-up. The participant is given a free choice of any card. NO FORCE. That card is left face-up on the table. After some byplay, the performer offers the participant a quarter to
give up his chance. Whether he accepts or declines, the participant (not the performer) opens the folded card that was inside the box. It is identical to the one he freely selected. He does not win the
$100.00. If he looks through the deck in the box, he will find the folded card is MISSING FROM THE DECK! At no time does the performer touch either the folded card or the deck inside the box! There are no switches of the folded card.

PRECOGNITIVE COLD-READING: A detailed (not vague) answer to a question asked by the client is found inside the box. The performer apparently wrote the answer before the person even asked it. This will
convince the skeptics you are psychic. Takes cold-reading to a new level.

In all these effects, everything can be left for examination. This effect comes complete with detailed directions on how to perform all these effects. The effects possible with the SANDA-Panda box are unlimited. You can find these boxes online and in some gift and card shops. They are often used for gifts.

NOTE: This is the complete and greatly expanded routine. The version described in Devin's first lecture notes only has a few pages covering this. If you have the first lecture notes, you do not have all the
information contained in this release.

What the pros have to say:

"...it's a powerful prediction tool that can be a good addition to your mentalism arsenal." - Wayne Kawamoto, Magic & Illusion

"The routines are all very smart and practical, Mr Knight has good advice to offer...." - Ian Rowland, The Magic Circular Magazine

"This is a fun one: simple, direct, and exactly what mentalism should look like...For the price you really can’t go wrong." - Payne Fifield, M-U-M Magazine

1st edition 2009, 22 pages.

ChairLess: a chair prediction

"A clever effect that genuinely plays big, so many layers and moments that will leave any audience perplexed." - Marc Spelmann

"Nique has created a strong routine, that is very portable, well thought out and very solid. His manuscript is clear, illustrated and informative. If you enjoy chair tests, you will enjoy this." - Chris Rawlins

"Nique has come up with a very well constructed chair routine... that doesn't involve chairs. He has taken some tried and true methods and blended them into a worker routine. I'm sure many will be pleased with this routine. The bonus here is that it packs flat yet plays very big and doesn't require you to carry around a bunch of chairs." – Greg Arce

"I like this very much... I'm sure this will go into the repertoire of many mentalists all over the world." – Luca Volpe

Nique Tan is a full time performer based in Singapore. This manuscript outlines his handling of a chair prediction – without the chairs.

The routine is a multi-phased routine, and it features 3 strong, distinct reveals; a number reveal (in the form of a prediction), a positional reveal (of who's chosen to stand where), as well as a final colour matching reveal. Nique has taken elements from other great chair tests and has combined them into a routine that is truly perplexing.

All the props required are easily available with just one trip to your local stationery store, and are easily prepared as well. The prep work involved is only a one time deal, and once the props have been prepared, they can be used time and time again.

Neither gimmicked envelopes nor nail writers are used in this routine; anything and everything can be examined and handled by the audience members chosen to participate. The method is as direct, bold and sure-fire as possible.

This effect has been a feature in Nique's commercial stage show for the past two and a half years, and he has decided to share the routine with the mentalism community.

1st edition 2012, 21 pages.

A Knight to Remember

LECTURE NOTES 2011 by Devin Knight

The lecture notes from Devin Knight's 2011 tour. Far more than just a set of lecture notes, this is a complete book in itself! Features mind-boggling effects, including both cards and mentalism. Effects that fooled the majority of magicians in attendance. These notes include directions for Devin's NO TOUCH Any Card At ANY Number. The performer need not touch the decks at any time, yet both decks can be examined by the spectators. No fakes, gimmicks or duplicate cards! One of Devin's biggest hits during this lecture tour. These notes also contain directions for several hundred dollar worth of Devin's marketed effects and explains how to make them at a fraction of the cost.

Includes the following effects:

Gyrater - Floating, spinning card case. No threads.

Tri-Sight - Correctly predict three actions done by a participant.

Flying Kiss - A lady's kiss finds a selected card.

Word Sight - Reveal two words just thought-of and never written down.

Ink-Portation - Cause a person's signature to fly from one card to another. Baffling beyond words!

Double ClipLine - A mind-boggling version of Clipline using two columns.

No-Touch ACCAN - A freely selected card appears at a random number. No Force. You never touch the decks. No switching of decks.

Double Coincidence - A freely chosen word is found to be the only one circled in a dictionary you never touch!

Psychoportation Envelopes - Teleport a borrowed driver's license across the stage!

A bargain at this price, as some of the marketed effects sell for more than the price of the lecture notes. Note the effects described in the lecture notes are abridged versions of the separate releases.

1st edition 2011,

Psychic Phenomena: Interactive Tarot Readings from the Stage

Paul Voodini presents a highly entertaining and interactive way of providing tarot card readings from the stage. This wonderful routine is ideal for both parlour and more intimate presentations as well as working fantastically with larger audiences of 100 and more. This routine combines the classic theatrics of old school mentalism with more modern requirements of being upbeat, interactive, and engaging. Whether you're performing in front of a dozen friends or in front of a full theater, this PDF will demonstrate to you exactly how to provide 30 minutes or more entertainment with nothing more than a pack of tarot cards and (optionally) a few gemstones. This routine will work equally well as a stand-alone presentation or as part of a larger mentalism/magic show.

Written in Paul's usual engaging manner, Psychic Phenomena is a routine that is beautifully simple while being amazingly engaging. A real worker from a real working pro.

Please note: this 10 page PDF will not teach you how to read the Tarot cards (or any other oracle system). It will be assumed that you already have that knowledge. What Psychic Phenomena offers is a wonderfully interactive way of providing stage readings for those who already have experience of the Tarot. Therefore it is not recommended for those who are yet to be comfortable providing Tarot readings.

1st edition 2012, 10 pages.

Clear Perception

The clear force bag has been around for a long time and should be part of any mentalist's arsenal. They come in many shapes and sizes and range in style from the cheap and tacky to the over complex and expensive.

For the first time Scott explains how with basic tools you have at home, you can in about fifteen minutes, easily and cheaply manufacture the clear Zip Lock force bags he has been selling at his lectures for over ten years.

Also included in these 34 pages of photographic instructions are eight full routines suitable for platform or close up and taken from Scott's own working repertoire, effects that utilise either one or two of these bags and which haven't been released in print before now.

Contents:

Introduction

Manufacturing the force bags

Collective Unconscious

Numbers "R" Us

Zippy's Zip lock

Predicting the Past

Traffic Lights Revisited (Again)

Lottery Madness

In the News

Musical Interlude

Conclusion

1st edition 2012, 34 pages.

Double Coincidence

Make It Yourself with this PDF.

Mentalist tells the audience that before the show, he gave a lady a dictionary, a red crayon and an envelope. He asked her to secretly circle a word and to seal the dictionary in the envelope. She was instructed to tell nobody the word, nor let anyone tamper with the envelope. He says this envelope is still in the audience.

When it's time to perform this effect, the Mentalist calls two people on stage.

The sealed envelope with dictionary is then retrieved by one of the spectators who holds on to it in full view. The Mentalist picks up a 300 page book and turning his head away, riffles the pages to have one spectator select a page from it. The book is opened at that place and given to spectator. It's obvious to the audience that the Mentalist hasn't had a chance to glimpse the pages of the open book. NO PAGE NUMBER IS CALLED OUT AT ANY TIME.

With his back still turned, the Mentalist asks the spectator to silently read the first few lines on the left page. Immediately, with no fishing, the performer describes what the person just read.

This is pretty amazing, but the Mentalist is ready for more, much more. He asks the person to read the first sentence on the right page. He tells the person to choose any object from the sentence and form a picture of it in his mind. The person has more than one choice of objects he could think of.

The Mentalist proceeds to accurately describe the object the person is thinking of. He even gives a description of it (the same image the person has in their mind) even though no description may exist in the book. Again he does this with NO FISHING. The spectator is asked what he was thinking of and it is seen the performer was 100% correct.

Now, for the big finale. The spectator is asked to call out any word on that line. The sealed envelope is opened and the other spectator (not the performer) removes the dictionary. There is a note stuck on the dictionary; that note tells which page number has the circled word on it.

The spectator opens the dictionary to that page (and yes, he can riffle the dictionary to check that this is the only circled page) and shows the audience the circled word. Before the word is read aloud, the Mentalist states wouldn't it be a marvelous coincidence if the only circled word on the dictionary was the word just called out by the first person. The word is read and seen to be the same word just called out! An unbelievable coincidence.

NO SECRET CUEING

NO FORCE OF THE WORD

ANY WORD CAN BE CALLED FROM THE LINE

NO STOOGES OR INSTANT STOOGES OF ANY KIND

SPECTATORS ON STAGE ARE COMPLETELY FOOLED

NO DUPLICATE PAGES IN THE NOVEL

This normally sells for $89.95 made up.

Mindvention 2009 Lecture Notes

First time released as PDF. These are the highly sought after lecture notes from Devin's first lecture at Mindvention in 2009. Includes the amazing INSIGHT.

INSIGHT -- Another Clever ACCAN

You invite two spectators to help in this experiment. You remove a deck of cards casually show them face up while you remove the joker. They are placed face down on the table. You ask one of the spectators to cut off a block and look at a card. Not to remove it, just THINK of it. You really don't know what card the person is thinking about! The selection is made in the spectator's hands. The magician isn't touching the cards. The person doesn't write the card down, he merely thinks of it.

The deck is then picked up by you and mixed so nobody knows where the card he is just thinking of is. You casually spread the cards face up telling the 2nd person the thought of card could be anywhere in the deck. You turn the deck face down and place it on the table. The 2nd person is asked to use his INSIGHT and decide on a number. Let's say he decides on 27. You ask him to deal a pile of 27 cards face down. The magician does NOT touch the cards.

After the pile is dealt you ask the first person for the FIRST time what card he thought of. You really don't know the card he thought of until he now names it.

You point out that the first person freely choose a number and dealt that many cards off. You say that nobody could know the top card of that pile. You point out that had he stopped one card sooner it would have been different. You have him turn over the other card on the other pile showing it not the thought of card. Now for the climax, the person turns over the card counted down to, and it is the merely thought of card!

SANDA-PANDA BOX

Two participants form a card to ensure the choice is random. One chooses the suit and the other the value with no restrictions. You take the lid off the box - inside is a deck of cards and a folded 8" x
5" piece of paper.

STREAMLINED KORAN PAPER TEAR

A real world method you will use.

ULTIMATE HEADLINE PREDICTION

The same method used by Devin in 1989 to garner world wide publicity!

POKER TELLS

Give a spectator psychic powers so he can correctly tell you cards sight unseen. The kind of things I like!" -
Luca Volpe

"Stefan keeps creating very commercial routines that pack a punch yet are easy to set up and do. This is a roulette style routine that has a humorous side, but will still fool them and get the job done. Another winner from Stefan's brain." - Greg Arce

The classic nail roulette done with a raw egg that is about to be poured onto the spectators head! Suspense and comedy go hand in hand in this hilarious mentalism routine by Stefan Olschewski.
A spectator is chosen from the audience and the mentalist states he will now try to subliminally influence the spectator to make a very important decision. He talks about the dangerous game of "Russian Roulette" and states he will try something similar – only that he will be using five opaque glasses and a raw egg…

The spectator sits on a chair and is asked to relax while the mentalist takes an egg from a box and breaks it into one of the five glasses standing in a row on his table. Those are then mixed behind a screen so nobody (apart from the mentalist) knows which glass holds the liquid.

The rules are simple: The spectator has a free choice of any of the glasses he thinks is the "dangerous one", which is placed aside into a box or a paper bag so nobody tampers with it.
All the other glasses are poured right above the spectator's head in any order. If one of them holds the liquid, the spectator loses!

Fortunately, all glasses are empty! Of course, using your "mental powers", you have been able to guide him to choose the correct glass at the beginning. This is now removed from the bag and poured into a clear bowl to prove it really contained the egg. The spectator may return to his seat completely dry.

This is a fun routine that can even be done when there are kids in the audience and which will always get a great reaction. Consider these points:

No force of the glass

No stooges

No marked glasses

The bag can be examined after the effect, there is nothing else inside

No equivoque

The spectator will always choose the correct glass

Suitable for any audience

100% surefire, works all the time

No multiple outs

Nothing to palm

Includes special kicker prediction ending

1st edition 2012, 21 pages, illustrated.

Eight Exercises Plus

In this manuscript, you will find the first volume of Eight Exercises. Plus you will also find the beginnings of The Compleat Fingertips Extended. Open this ebook and let the strangeness commence.

Here is what people are saying about Eight Exercises Plus:

"Faaaaaaaaaaaar too cheap, and an absolute tonic for any free-thinking psychic entertainer...I shall be exercising my mind via your writing yet again..." - Iain Dunford

"Dale has put together many thought provoking ideas that deal with readings and hypnosis. I'm sure many will get a lot of useful ideas and presentations from this book. Fair warning: This is not an ebook filled with fun and light ideas. There is some deep thinking going on." - Greg Arce

"Dale Hildebrandt's book, Eight Exercises Plus, is well worth attention by mentalists & hypnotists who prefer to use minimal props. An interesting technique of giving readings is described which does not require cards or other props for divination. The participant's hands are used, although not for palmistry. The method is nicely summarized and even a Tick Sheet is provided. There is a clever approach to determining a person's astrological sign which does not use a progressive anagram. I enjoyed the 'hypnotic' stunt in which a couple's ring fingers are attracted to each other as well as the description of a rapid induction technique that made use of a small action executed by the participant together with some colourful imagery. As for hypnosis, there are a number of Ericksonian strategies discussed and applied in ways that hypnotists would enjoy. I found this book to be chock full of ideas useable by mentalists in general although particularly by those who do readings and/or hypnosis." - John McLachan

"Dale what can I say but you have done it once again this new work is as John said worth much attention." - Bill Montana

"Dale's - Eight Plus is a book on hypnosis and readings. The finger system is a simple and effective tool for readings. The effects The Weight of Marriage I & II are very usable especially for those who entertain in the wedding environment. His ideas on 'Sensational Suggestions' are Marvelous! Nice one Dale" - Robert Haley

1st edition 2011, 24 pages.

Pieces at 3am: Volume 2

Four years have passed since I released the original Pieces at 3am. The book that came to be one of Dee's best selling collections and the single publication that spawned most variations by other artists of his original thoughts and ideas.

Dee has had the thought of doing a second volume for years, but he has never had the correct collection of effects and concepts that he felt could adhere to the original thought. All of the effects in the original book were ideas that came to him as he woke in a cold sweat at night. They were pieces that entered his conscious mind after dark, usually at around 3 am.

Now, Dee offers you the second volume. Four years of subconscious thought and a notebook by his bed. Four years of sifting through after-dark material that just wasn't impactful enough, or wasn't practical enough for him to use in his gigs.

Four Years. Four New Effects.

In P@3AM:2 you will learn:

iSO: A completely isolated coin bend. When Dee launched the isolation experiment video a few years back, he wanted to be able to create the same kind of effect in a walk around environment. With iSO, you will genuinely borrow a coin, genuinely drop their coin into a borrowed bottle - They can see that the coin is still straight through the plastic or glass wall. You ask them to keep their eyes on the coin as you begin to swing the coin slowly around inside. As you continue, the coin starts to blur, as if it's matter is shifting. You then stop. The coin is now bent.

They can still see right through the bottle, they can still see that it's the only coin in there and their minds are completely blown. You then hand them the bottle, with the coin still inside and walk away.

inDeck: A brilliant billet index that can be built into a deck of cards, or a stack of index cards, depending on your preference. Very easy to use, very easy to expand.

Currency: This is a real show piece and is of closer potential for a close up or parlour show.
You lay your wallet on the table explaining that you have a prediction in the billfold. You take out a set of 20 or so business cards on which you have written denominations of bank notes of whatever currency is normal in your country in a random order. Here in the UK, Dee writes £5, £10, £20, £50 repeated across the cards.

A spectator deals through the cards in their hands and stops on whichever denomination he or she wishes. You hand another spectator a small pocket book in which you have hundreds of random serial numbers written. They select a serial number - there are no duplicates in the book.

You open your wallet to show that there is one bank note in the billfold. A spectator is asked to take it out.
