Shri Guru Angad Sahib Ji, before being appointed as the Second Guru of the Sikhs, was known as Bhai Lehna Ji. He was born on 31st March, 1505, in a village named Harike in Ferozpur district in Punjab. Bhai Lehna's father, Pheru Ji, was a small businessman. His mother was Mata Ramo Ji. She is also known as Mata Sabhirai, Mansa Devi, and Daya Kaur.
