Shut the Hell Up: A journey towards spiritual freedom by Rachelle Lynn Johnson

I can't imagine approaching the judgment seat of Christ and hear the Lord say, "Rachelle, your record says you were an evangelist, a witness, a teacher, a mother, a wife, a singer, and a musician. You have been working in the church for so many years. I see here you encouraged many along the way. You even helped a few find the road to life more abundantly. But I have something against you. You tried to hide your iniquities, you practiced them in secret, and convinced yourself that I would pardon you. I saw your secret deeds. You've done many good works in my name, but you are counterfeit! You're not one of mine, depart from me." "I myself be a castaway" (1 Cor. 9:27). Holiness is a lifestyle, not an outfit. We can't put it on and take it off. Each Christian is required to be a living witness. We are charged with teaching those that are lost in sin the difference salvation makes in the life of a born-again believer. We are held accountable for the life we live before God and man. So if the wages of sin leads to spiritual death, then those without the Spirit of the Lord within them when death knocks have a first-class passport to hell. Hell is getting larger daily. I believe it's making room for the believers gone astray; however, if we do as written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 in our individual lives, we can defeat the enemy within and shut the doors of hell up in our own lives. After all, eternal damnation is not worth the gamble.
