SIMON 2.0 (LINUX):
- When I try to start a simulation I receive the error:
"setsim no such file or directory"
There is a conflict in the dynamic C-libraries. SIMON was linked
dynamically to preserve disc space. Upgrade to gcc 2.7.2.3 which
comes with the correct dynamic libraries.
SIMON 2.0 (LINUX and Windows):
- For a certain class of circuits with current-sources, SIMON
produces either no output or wrong output.
This bug is resolved. Please send me an email and inform me that you would like to have the corrected version. If you bought SIMON 2.0 after March 27th 1999, you have the corrected version.
- Cursor does not change back from hour-glass to arrow.
This happens after a transient simulation if exactly a multiple of 1000 events has been simulated and simulation results are displayed. Change the 'event number' to a value not equal to a multiple of 1000. For example change it to 999 or 1001.
SIMON 2.0 (Windows):
- 'Print to File' does not work. The generated EPS file is empty.
The print to eps command is not fully functional in Tcl/Tk
for windows. Thus, there is no quick workaround. But we will
try to correct this problem in one of the next versions.
