Solomon Batelberg

The scifi author Solomon Batelberg's novella The Premise was published in 2012 and eventually adapted into a screenplay. Mr. Batelberg's talks include “Al Ukin's premise or the art of constancy in ambient discontinuity”, given for Creative Mornings in Zurich, Switzerland. He holds a masters degree in microengineering, which includes robotics and nanotechnology and gives him an insider view of a wide range of technologies, their scientific background and how they come to exist. Initially a poet, Mr. Batelberg evolved, via a period of philosophy-centered prose fueled by a 2009 surgery, towards narrative science fiction writing, with current works extending into the fantasy, crime/thriller, action and surreal genres.
