After attempting suicide specifically generated by her egotistical, scum bag of a husband, Frances is taken to Mt. View Hospital. Confused and somewhat delusional, she tosses and turns in the sterile and uncomfortable bed in the psychiatric ward. Her eyes slowly close, her consciousness succumbing to the medicine, allowing her to enter a deep and profound sleep. She soon has horrific nightmares involving filthy, gruesome river rats tearing into her frail body. Fran's beautiful face is gnawed to the bone repeatedly, leaving her chewed remains sprawled lifeless in a vast pool of blood. Venturing into Fran's life we become aware of the ongoing domestic problems with her husband Jonathan, the unconscionable murders, and the horrid death of her best friend's baby which her friend witnesses firsthand. And last, but not least, Fran's heartfelt compassion and trust she endears with her psychiatrist, sisters, and nurse.
