The Holly King: Part 1 of the First Triad: The Fairy Lore of Ghost Horse Hollow by Anne Severn Williamson

Anne Severn Williamson gallops into the realm of Popular Fantasy on the back of a real Mountain Horse from Ghost Horse Hollow! Join Panther, Dale, and the eclectic MacKennon homesteaders of the Appalachian wilderness as they battle to restore the balance of Nature during the wake of dramatic Earth changes. With refreshing humor, vivid imagery, and heartfelt concern for our planet, her new series, The Fairy Lore of Ghost Horse Hollow, delivers a breathtaking nine-part saga full of clever fairies, brave woodland allies, and legendary blue-eyed horses.

As the Wheel of the Year spins round, The Holly King, Part I of the First Triad of the series, launches the magical adventures and introduces the first three laws of the Fairy Lore, wisdom destined to uplift both humans and magic kindred alike. Never before have the cross-roads between reality and fantasy seemed so tempting and so applicable to our time. Grab your copy and enter the Fairylands ... but be forewarned: readers of all ages will never want this wild ride to end!

The Holly King is a fast-paced, rich adventure novel for both young readers and adults. Like Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, the Ghost Horse Hollow series provides a lifetime of good memories and rewarding entertainment. This is a great book for read-aloud sharing too! If you enjoy action mixed with magic and are concerned about the future of our planet, then grab a copy of The Holly King online! See the amazingly beautiful Ghost Horses on the Internet: No other series in the world has real life characters like these! The names of the horses have been registered to match the fantasy. The Holly King is also devoted to global conservation and peace. Think Harry Potter meets the Beastmaster on Walton's Mountain with a copy of The Celestine Prophecy in his hand. Deep ideas, super fun, and wild characters await you! This may well be the next big READ for our times, so gallop into the Fairylands and hang on for a thrilling ride with the MacKennon homesteaders of Ghost Horse Hollow!

I have read about 100 pages of The Holly King so far. I have absolutely enjoyed reading this enchanting novel. I can’t wait to see what happens at the end of this book and to read the rest of the 9 part series! The book has so many aspects that I enjoy: fantasy, adventure, conservation, strong family ties, and good friends, not to mention Earth’s wonderful creatures. I'm friends with the author on Face book, so I get updates about the book series often. I read that they have a new blog up, which I checked out, at I have also been to the website There are so many wonderful things to look at and read on the website.
