The Mysterious Stranger was Mark Twain's final novel and contains some serious social views addressing Twain's ideas of Moral Sense and the 'damned human race'. He dies before the work was entirely finished and it has been adapted and republished in many ways and forms. It was originally published posthumously in 1916 and is here reprinted with a new introductory biography of one of the greatest authors of all time.
