Tina P. Schwartz
Tina P. Schwartz earned her Bachelors of Arts in Marketing Communications from Columbia College in Chicago, IL. She worked in advertising (as a Media Buyer, then as a Sales Rep for several radio stations) for many years until becoming a mother. Schwartz stayed home to raise children, and worked part-time as an Assistant Youth Librarian for three years while honing her craft as an author. Schwartz's first book came out in 2004, and her tenth book is forthcoming in 2014. She writes for children and teens, and happily meets plenty of both during author visits and book signings around the country. In July 2012, Schwartz opened The Purcell Agency, and now markets manuscripts to publishers, as well as continues to write books for the youth market.
