Treasures is the story of a young high school student and his extraordinary experience dealing with bullying, bigotry and gossip. Michael's dreams of flying seem to be coming to reality when he is offered a ride in a Stearman biplane. He begins lessons and his continued success goes to his head. His mother sees the danger and repeatedly reminds him to seek God and build a relationship with Jesus. She warns him about his pride and encourages him to lay up treasures in heaven. But her persistent arguments seem tedious to Michael. He charges ahead making emotional decisions. his life is complicated by encounters with bullies outside the school and bigotry inside the school from teachers. He is headed for a fall. "Pride goes before destruction." His relationship with his girlfriend becomes a victim of his ego and he plunges ahead with his plans.
