The novel describes a woman, tired of politics-as-usual, who decides to run a campaign on the Internet for the 2016 Presidential election. Her low-investment, no financial backing campaign is meant only to be an example, paving the way for others to embrace diversity, technology, and participatory politics without spending much and owing little to others. How she is accidentally selected to one of the early Presidential Debates to replace the third party candidate is still a mystery to this day. But it gives her a venue for both challenging a key worldview and laying the groundwork for the future of American politics.
