Killing Classics 2 by Jozsef Kovacs4/4
The performer randomly places 16 numbered cards onto the table. The spectator randomly chooses 4 quarter-sized cards from a deck of quartered cards and places them randomly onto the number cards. The spectator and the magician summarize the 4 chosen numbers. The performer counts down the same number of cards as the sum from a shuffled normal-sized deck of cards to get a random card. The performer turns the four, chosen, quarter cards face up. Together they form a whole jumbo card. The spectator turns the randomly determined, normal-sized card face up, and it is the same as the jumbo card. ...

Killing Classics 1 by Jozsef Kovacs
"Far from 'killing' some of the classics of card magic... József breathes new life into them! A superb collection of "KILLER" magic!" - Stephen Tucker
25 % MA vs. GA
The magician cuts the deck at the four Tens. The Tens change into the Fives. Meanwhile, he finds the Royal Flush in Spades as well. He produces the vanished Tens from three different places (from his pocket, from his wallet and from the empty card box). At the end he proves that he didn't use extra Tens by showing that all the cards in the deck are blank!

ATLANTIS
The effect is the marriage of a triumph and a transposition. The magician...

Spelling Deck by Jozsef KovacsSix tricks with an easy to make deck of cards.

FACTS
An ACAAN-variation. The magician introduces two decks of cards: one has a blue back, the other red. The blue deck is shuffled and tabled. The red deck is numbered from 1 to 52 on the back of the cards. The spectator cuts to a random card in the shuffled red deck and selects another random card. The spectator turns any of the two red cards face up and the other one face down. By using the number on the back of the red-backed card, the spectator deals a pile from the blue-backed deck. The last dealt card matches the face-up, red-backed card. ...

Addicted to Power and Mystical Sandwitch by Jozsef KovacsAddicted To Power
The spectator chooses a random number of cards and a random selection from the deck. The random cards have letters on their faces. If you read the letters they give you the name of the selection! After this the magician shows that all the other cards in the deck are blank!

Mystical Sandwich
Two spectators choose two cards by cutting the shuffled deck. They sign their cards and bury them into the deck. The magician spreads the deck and shows that the mystical card of the deck has turned face up in the middle of the deck. By spelling the name of the mystical card, the...

Lois or Lise by Jozsef Kovacs
"I really like how you put different principles all together and the expanded 10/20 principle is overlooked in my opinion. I like that there is no apparent move and it looks fair." - Raphaël Czaja
This is a numerological revelation of a selected card. It's really off-beat and ... I think you'll love it, and definitely use it!

You tell two spectators that one of them will select a card randomly from the deck, and the other will find out the name of the selected card using numerology. You ask one of them to turn his back while the other chooses a card.

The first spectator now selects a card in a...

UK Lecture Tour Notes 2013 by Jozsef Kovacs
"Really interesting combination of principles in there. I especially liked Eight Envelopes, Asymmetric Oil & Water, Yet 2 and Coin and Card ESP. The Plaid Eared Rabbit contains a very clever use of an old Tenyo prop." - Raphaël Czaja
Contents:

Appreciation: Jozsef thanks those who have helped him.

Amazing Prediction: You table a prediction deck. A lady randomly (and fairly) chooses two cards from another deck. The two cards generate a card and a two-digit number. You hand her the prediction deck, and she deals down to her randomly generated number. All the cards dealt are face down except for...

CCARN: Chosen Card At Random Number by Jozsef Kovacs
"I'm not an ordinary magician: I LOVE card tricks with two decks! I really dig the apparent fairness of the trick. The spectator is asked to do many fair choices and the outcome looks impossible. A worthwile variation on the ACAAN plot." - Raphaël Czaja
Any card is selected [say the King of Spades] and then buried into the deck by the spectator. Using a 2nd deck, a number is very fairly generated, again by the spectator [let's say 25]. You won't believe this, but... the 25th card now dealt to in the 1st deck is the King of Spades!

Shouting Jokers by Jozsef KovacsAs Aldo Colombini says... "A wonderful routine with so many climaxes!" This is based on the famous theme of the Whispering Queens.

Effect: Two people each select a card and sign them. You now introduce a packet of three Jokers. The two selections are touched by the Jokers who then "whisper" their identities to you! One of the selections is cut into the deck, but instantly reappears between the Jokers! The other selection is now placed among the three Jokers from where... it vanishes... only to reappear seconds later in your pocket! No palming. No extra cards. The selected cards can even be signed if you...

Colour Scheme by Jozsef KovacsYou introduce a deck of cards and five different coloured pens. You have a spectator freely select a card, after which the card is lost back into the deck. They are now invited to select some, or all, of the pens. Let's say they pick three pens: RED, ORANGE and GREEN. The remaining pens are discarded. You ask them to take each pen and write a single-digit number with it. This results in three written digits, each of a different colour. For example: 7 3 5.

Turning to a second spectator, you ask her to mix the three pens so that they are in a random order. The three written digits are now re-arranged...

Cardopia: eleven terrific routines by Jozsef Kovacs
"A nice variety of card material here. I'll be using a few of these routines for sure!" - Paul Hallas

"You have the 'knack' to create direct effects with simple methods, which is, in my opinion, the essence of commercial magic." - Aldo Colombini

"In this ebook, Jozsef combines some original thinking with neat construction. I really enjoyed this collection of card magic. I think you will, too." - Peter Duffie

"If you enjoy the eleven excellent routines that you will encounter in CARDOPIA, which I know you will, be sure to check out József's other ebooks, lecture notes and manuscripts... they are all great and I highly...

The Gleaner by Jozsef KovacsChanging Collectors
Three spectators choose three cards. You lose the selections in the deck. You produce the four Kings from your pocket. The four Kings turn face down magically and after this they change into the four Aces and the three selections appear between the Aces.

Cheese In My Pocket
This is a reverse collectors effect. You put three selections between the four Queens. Then you cut the seven card packet in the middle of the deck. The three selections disappear from between the Queens and you produce them from your pocket.

Cardophilia by Jozsef KovacsThis ebook teaches 16 card tricks. Some of the tricks need special accessories but you can easily print them on your home computer.

Angle on Angle on Angle on
With the help of two cards, the magician predicts which card will be randomly chosen by the spectator and predicts the sum of the value of the helper cards and the chosen card and the named number.

Clown
A clown card jumps three times through three blank faced cards and after this the performer explains the trick: the blank faced cards are really three coiled springs (the blank face cards change into three coiled springs).

Simple Sample by Jozsef KovacsHere is a beautiful ebook. Wonderful and clear photos presented in an appealing layout. Jozsef is a true lover of the pasteboards and has developed many unique and fresh ideas on classic plots as well as some completely new routines. The effects are:
  • Take Five The spectator selects a card from the shuffled deck, which is then lost in the deck. The spectator hides the deck behind her back and inserts a card face up in the middle of the deck. Then the performer spreads the deck on the table. In the face down deck there is a face up card, a Five, which was inserted by the spectator and the chosen...
