Based on an idea by Nick Trost. You will be thrilled with the splendid effect which you achieve in such an easy manner.

You show a packet of five jumbo cards cut in half. Two spectators shuffle the cards and split the packet taking some cards each. For example, one spectator has 4 cards and one has six. You place an envelope on the table and then show the cards to each spectator in turn. They look and remember the one half-card (that corresponds to the number of cards they each had in hand). L'effetto della routine spiegata con la consueta chiarezza da Aldo è il seguente:

PRIMA FASE: ADUNATA ISTANTANEA

Quattro Jolly sono messi sul tavolo in una formazione a T e tre carte sono poste su ciascun Jolly. Un mazzetto è designato come 'leader' e i quattro Jolly appaiono tutti in quel mazzetto.

SECONDA FASE: ADUNATA

Four Kings are placed on the table and three cards are placed onto them. The first King vanishes and now you have two Kings in the second packet. They vanish and you now have three Kings on the third packet. They vanish and in the fourth packet you have….the four Aces! The Kings are found on top of four other packets!

It's a sort of Cups and Balls routine, yet it is done with only one cup which is actually a glass. It's a Two In The Hand And One In The Pocket routine, using the glass instead of the hand. Aldo Colombini performs and explains an amazing three phase routine from Nick Trost, which requires only a regular deck. Very easy to perform.

EFFECT:

1) The deck is shuffled and divided in half. A spectator reverses a card in one half. Both halves are placed side by side face down. You turn the top card of each half over dealing them above the halves. The dealing continues. All the pairs are different. When the spectator´s card is reached, the card of the same color and value turns up in the other half!
