(10th June 1894 - 17th June 1957)

Born in New York City, NY. Vaudeville comic who left c1927 to become a policeman in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. In 1932 he was inspired seeing magician in hospital. Learned from gift book from friend. Amateur specializing in gambling exposé act and lectures. In 1946 started his fine collection of gaffed gambling apparatus.

Invented Magician's Dream (by 1938), Rabbit Wringer (in 1942), Mental Choice (1955), and probably introduced fanning powder to magicians.
