Son of a Polish-Jewish educator, most of whose family died in the Holocaust. Stage name of Chananel Mifelew. Moved to Britain by 1947. Had own TV show. Pro card magician and mind-reader. USA TV bits with Steve Allen in 1954 and Arlene Francis in 1957. Later a pro painter.
