(December 1896 - 18th June 1987)

Born in New London, Connecticut. Pseudonym of Morand Francis Caldwell. Pro inventor-improver-dealer (Frank Lane and Co. in Boston). Invented The Devil Whispers card trick (by 1932), the Lazy Magician effect with record trick method by 1933, etc. Famous for his mutually contrived long-running "feud" with Ted Annemann in the 1930s. Edited Funny Talk 1938-42 (48 issues).
