The title "Secrets - Malini, Leipzig, Vernon, Jarrow, ..." suggests a lot, but these are merely the interpretations and versions of U. F. Grant to some of the classics of Malini, Leipzig, Vernon, Jarrow and others. Grant uses only one page to describe each effect and method. This book is therefore to some degree a disappointment. Nevertheless I think it is a cheap way to learn the plots and a method to several of the greatest tricks of all time. Just don't expect very detailed descriptions. Grant displays in this book an arrogant writing style with comments like 'This is good' or "The best method" or "Fools...

I attended the Pavel 100% Magic Lecture when he visited Sydney, Australia sometime around 2005. I traveled the 2 hr drive home after the lecture and made sure to jot down notes about the effects that I was impressed with before I retired to bed that night. In hindsight I wish that I had written explanations for all the effects, but it was not to be. So what we have here are 8 items from this lecture explained in my own words. Squeeze is a wonderful effect created by Tommy Wonder. A regular deck of cards is 'squeezed' into a miniture case. It is an incredibly visual effect and was published in the first volume of the Books Of Wonder on page 149.

The biggest problem with this effect is to prepare and build the props. In order to remove the time consuming design work Troels Holm has created the necessary drawings. These sheets make it easy for you to produce all the special items needed for this trick. However, keep in mind that even with these PDFs there is still a significant amount of work left to build all props and prepare...
