Conradi was the largest manufacturer of magic apparatus in Germany in the early 20th century. He wrote and published several major magic books and his magazine Zauberspiegel (Magic Mirror) predates Mahatma, the first American magic magazine. We should not forget that around 1900 Germany was dominating the magic market.
