Scott Xavier
PK Touch Up: an expose of psychic touch by Scott Xavier

Scott Xavier created a new method for PK Touch using an old forgotten principal.

Effect:

The mentalist speaks of a psychic connection between people when they're hypnotized. The mentalist gets two spectators on stage and hypnotizes them. Then he just makes a mime like a tap two feet above each volunteers arm. Even though their eyes are closed, they both feel the touch, that was never made. The mentalist simply thinks of a touch, and they respond.

Next the mentalist taps the spectator on the left. Both volunteers feel it. Then he taps the spectator on the right, the spectator on the...

Ralf (Fairmagic) Rudolph
Pocket Riser 2.0: Borrowed and Signed by Ralf (Fairmagic) Rudolph

No slits! No thread! Take a borrowed Pad!

Borrow a paper pad (Post-it) and let the spectator sign the front page. After you draw the wrong card you add a few lines to make a box. Then the chosen card rises out of the drawn box. After that you rip of the signed paper and fold it (if you wish) and heat up with a lighter (you don't have to do this). When the spectator opens the paper, the card is gone. He could check the pad and keep all items as a souvenir! No threads, no slits! (like the first Version). If you follow the routine you end up clean. You can build the gimmick in a few minutes....

Pocket Riser 3.0: Rise and Change by Ralf (Fairmagic) Rudolph

After the card rises it changes instantly.

Pocket Riser 1.0 and Pocket Riser 2.0 have been feature creations of Ralf. These are effects he is particularly known for. Version 3.0 goes another big step further by introducing a second totally visual climax. The card rises as in the earlier versions from a drawn packet of cards, and then suddenly changes. The change is so fast and comes totally unexpected.

There is some arts and crafts involved in making the gimmicked note pad, but it is more than worth the effect. Everything is explained and demonstrated in a detailed video. You will also receive print templates in...

Allan Ackerman
Poker Deal with Color Changing Deck by Allan Ackerman

Face-up and face-down cards are shuffled together and then dealt for a five handed game of poker. Some cards will be face-up and some will be face-down. However, the performer is able to deal himself mostly face-down cards whereas everybody else receives all face-up cards. The four face-down cards the magician received turn out to be the four aces. On top of it the backs of these four aces have a different color than the rest of the cards.

Peter Pellikaan
Polder Magic by Peter Pellikaan

You show four cards blank on both sides. Suddenly one changes to a Jack of Clubs with a regular blue back. One moment later all four change to blue backs and Jack of Diamonds on the front. Barely a moment later they have all red backs and Jack of Hearts on the front. If you haven't seen enough color changes the four backs change to yet another color. The fronts are blank again with one exception, a Jack of Clubs. You end where you started with all four cards blank on both sides.

Dave Arch
Poor Man's EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) by Dave Arch

Finally a cost-effective method for establishing ambiance in the candlelit seance room by recording the proceedings and having them unexpectedly interrupted by a series of unintelligible guttural sounds.

Finally a routine that doesn't break the flow of the seance routine while the medium and the sitters make sense of the fully customizable sounds.

Based on an idea from Bob Cassidy, this video tutorial finally visually demonstrates step-by-step how to leverage the power of a free user-friendly laptop app (Windows/Mac Os/Unix) to achieve the above and more.

They are then asked to select one of the coins, toss it in the air and catch it, calling heads or tails. Let's imagine they call tails! David Jonathan
Precise Premonition by David Jonathan

A twist on the premonition plot with a multiple kicker finale.

Precise Premonition draws inspiration from Eddie Joseph's staple Premonition effect, but packs in many new magical moments that crescendo with an incredible firework finale. Best of all, it's super practical, very easy to perform, and consistently delivers incredible reactions.

The Effect:

A spectator is given a red deck to hold that contains your prediction. A blue deck is now shuffled and used to create both a playing card and a number. Let's say they settle on the number 10 and the Queen of Hearts. The spectator looks through the deck to retrieve...

Ninh
Print by Ninh

Please not that this video is in Vietnamese with English subtitles.

The audience chooses a card. They keep it secret. The magician takes out a pack of gum packaged in a blister pack. He makes a gesture and magically a card suit appears on the inside of one gum blister. He continues to shake his hands again, and the value of the card appears in a second blister. The magician then removes the gum from its package and the audience can clearly see their picture card located on the gum.

The gimmick is very clever and requires a bit of 'arts and crafts'.
