This is Ackerman's variation of the Convincing Control.

Ackerman marries the Kelly Bottom Replacement with the Convincing Control to eliminate the telltale front finger movement of the Kelly Bottom Replacement.

This is a fun routine that first appeared in Allan's Magic Mafia book. It is based on a Dai Vernon plot from the 60s. However, a typical 'all backs' routine requires many moves - half passes and double lifts. Here Allan has engineered a routine with a lot less moves. You could even do this routine while maintaining a stacked deck.
You show a deck that consists of cards that have backs printed on the front and back. This changes then to faces on both sides of the cards until everything goes back to normal.

This is another classic of card magic, a routine first published in Paul LePaul's book. The four aces are put back into the deck at different locations. The deck is shuffled and one half is half-way stuck into the other half. A few flicks and one ace at a time flies out of the deck.

This is an effect that Joseph is very proud of. When this was released it fooled top card magicians because of its diabolical method. There really seems to be no explanation. The magician is able to find the card chosen by the spectator under extremely tight conditions. The performer always looks away and the deck will be completely shuffled by the spectator. All this with a normal deck of cards. Joseph has cleverly combined two known methods to create a strong routine.

Being a huge fan of the classic 'rising card' effect, Dave asked himself the following question: "Is it possible to cause a freely selected and signed card to rise from the centre of a regular deck of cards that is locked inside the card case?"
The answer is YES! The answer is AIR!
Any card is freely selected from the deck. The card is signed before being lost back into the pack. The pack is placed into the box and you focus your attention on the top of the cased deck. Slowly and eerily, a card is seen to rise from the center for well over half its length. That card is the signed card....
This is a subtlety to facilitate - or make it easier - to perform the pull-out or strip-out shuffle. The video also explains the Alignment Subtlety and the Double Double.

A complete comedy prediction routine with a surprise finish.
A spectator is shown various words written on sheets of paper. These are folded and dropped into a bag, placed behind he spectator's back and any paper is selected - the future predicted word. On stage the magician has a large book with the word 'PREDICTION' on the cover that has been in full view all the time. Before the spectator unfolds and reveals the chosen word, the magician pages through the large format book revealing various comedy predictions. Eventually the spectator reveals the word and the entire book drops open in...
Spectator merely thinks of any card out of 52 and that card is the only one with a different back than the rest of the deck. But what if the spectator would have named another card? To demonstrate the performer takes another card and visually moves the off color back from the first selection to the new one. A very visual and stunning transformation.

An incredible coincidence plus an incredible prediction that looks completely impossible. You present two decks to a spectator. They have a free choice (no force). The spectator takes one deck, and you take the other. Both of you shuffle your deck. Then the decks are exchanged. Each one gives their deck a final cut. Then each one puts their deck into their pocket. Then cards are withdrawn from the top of the deck and put face up on the table until a match of the face appears. Once a match appears the magician presents a prediction that was on the table the whole time in which he predicted...
This effect has such a subtle method. If you want to destroy your spectator with a killer effect, this is the one. This effect is a mix of impossible location, ACAAN and impossible revelation. Joseph has often used this effect as an opener and always got great reactions. You have all the material at home to construct the deck.
You introduce a deck of cards and instruct a spectator to cut about a third of the deck and place it to the side. The card cut to is remembered by the spectator and also put aside. The spectator shuffles the part cut off and the performer shuffles the remainder of...
The roles are reversed. The performer selects a card and the spectator finds the card by selecting a number, dealing to the number and indeed finding the selected card there.
You will need to know the Pip Bottom Deal to perform this effect.

This is Rafael's combination of Marlo's Spread Change with the Slippery Drop. It is a very visual and surprising reveal of a card that was controlled to the top.

Why do ACAAN with one deck when you can up the apparent impossibility with two decks? That's the beauty of Arbitrium.
Imagine removing a prediction card and placing it in your pocket. You then bring out two decks, one with numbered cards and one standard deck. The spectator makes an actual free choice from each deck, selecting one number and one playing card. The performer removes his prediction to show it not only matches the freely selected card, but it also has the chosen number boldly drawn on it. A double prediction and ACAAN combined.

ARCAAN is an ACAAN with two decks of cards that is not only very easy to do but a complete miracle. It works every single time and always with a different card. For fans of the theme, it is certainly a gem to try.
Two decks: one blue and the other red. The spectator chooses one. Let's say the red deck. The spectator cuts from the deck a completely random number of cards and then he counts them. Then he shuffles the deck and puts a Joker into the middle of the deck. The card on the right of the joker will be the suit and the card on the left will be the value. Now we have a random number...
Learn to make two impossible objects without glue or other bonding agents. You can hand it out for examination. No joint or slit will be visible, because there is none. No glue or hidden cuts or anything like that. Have a wooden arrow pass through a Chinese coin with a hole or a bottle with a hole.
