Borrow a coin and show a normal empty glass bottle, then visually pass the coin through the base of the bottle. They don't just see the coin 'appear' in the bottle; they see it 'melt' right through. Then you shake the bottle to conclude the coin is indeed inside the bottle, then give it out as a souvenir. You can even do this with a borrowed bottle. This is Kevin Parker's Passing Thru.

Two devious peek devices for mentalists.

Every mentalist needs an arsenal of peek methods, be that a device, or a folding peek. The Peeks of Chaos contains two peek devices, each using the card box: the "Mockra Peek", and the "Meanas Peek". Each method is very deceptive, and the peek happens at a natural moment, with no funny movements.

You may have seen something similar in a stage version from Martin Lewis. Ralf got his inspiration from Martin's effect and worked out a pocket version of it that uses a sticky note pad.

Effect: Draw a wrong prediction of a playing card on a sticky note pad. The chosen card rises out of the same picture. Give it away as an impossible souvenir.

Borrow a paper pad (Post-it) and let the spectator sign the front page. After you draw the wrong card you add a few lines to make a box. Then the chosen card rises out of the drawn box. After that you rip of the signed paper and fold it (if you wish) and heat up with a lighter (you don't have to do this). When the spectator opens the paper, the card is gone. He could check the pad and keep all items as a souvenir! No threads, no slits! (like the first Version). If you follow the routine you end up clean. You can build the gimmick in a few minutes....

After the card rises it changes instantly.

Pocket Riser 1.0 and Pocket Riser 2.0 have been feature creations of Ralf. These are effects he is particularly known for. Version 3.0 goes another big step further by introducing a second totally visual climax. The card rises as in the earlier versions from a drawn packet of cards, and then suddenly changes. The change is so fast and comes totally unexpected.

A procedural variation on Arthur Buckley's celebrated Ten Card Poker Deal. The magician and a spectator are each dealt five cards (either person can deal). The spectator decides whether to keep his cards, or whether the cards should be mixed by dealing again. No matter how many times the dealing is repeated before the cards are examined, the magician's hand wins....

Two tricks in one. These are two of the most visual and eye-appealing tricks you can do. Looks like trick photography and takes around 30 seconds to perform. Effect: The performer states that some card players seem to have psychic ability. These card players can correctly sense the cards in an opponent's hand. The performer says he would like to try an experiment to see if a participant has this ability to detect playing cards sight unseen. He shows four opaque envelopes and removes the four aces from a deck. The four aces are then placed inside the envelopes and mixed so the participant has no idea which envelope contains which ace. You show four cards blank on both sides. Suddenly one changes to a Jack of Clubs with a regular blue back. One moment later all four change to blue backs and Jack of Diamonds on the front. Barely a moment later they have all red backs and Jack of Hearts on the front. If you haven't seen enough color changes the four backs change to yet another color. The fronts are blank again with one exception, a Jack of Clubs. You end where you started with all four cards blank on both sides.
