La routine des rois is a mixture of a packet trick and a production of Kings and Aces. You can do it with a normal deck of cards. It is a climax of twists, as you can see from the demo video. You need to know only the Elmsley Count. In any case, I also give you a little tutorial on it. No gaffed cards and no gimmick.

David's excellent "Clarity Box" that he marketed was the inspiration, in fact I actually use his box in this video (although you could use any container or suitable drinking glass).

This is my handling with the UNPREPARED crystal box, acchieving the same result: a folded card, which has been in full view inside the box is switched out for a signed card. This is a no-frill switch for the worker with a heavy rentention of vision aspect to it.

A playing card levitates above a deck of cards.

The method is based on the black art principle and therefore requires a black background such as a black T-shirt or similar. A bit of arts and crafts and you can make the gimmick yourself.

You punch a hole thru the corner of two signed playing cards. You clearly show both sides of the playing cards and instantly link them together! But that's not enough. You tear off one corner and make it vanish only to appear inside of the signed playing card while the spectator holds the cards in his hands! The corner matches perfectly. Give the cards away as a Souvenir. They will find nothing. Perform it close up and stand up. The gimmick is easy to build.

You will learn how to prepare a special card which you can later magically link to the stem of a wineglass. To achieve this you do not need to fold the card, which means there will be no creases in the card. The preparation of the gimmicked card takes a good amount of time, about 15 minutes. You can hand out the card linked to the glass as souvenir.

Tarasini has created a visual and very easy card linking method. For the effect you will only need two cards and nothing else. The gimmicked card frame is easy to make.

Rubber band and playing card permanently link.

A rubber band is linked to a previously selected and signed playing card. At the end, the corner of the card is torn off and given away as a souvenir with the rubber band inside.

In this video I walk you slowly through the Loaded Salt Shaker Vanish and Reproduction. You can pour an entire shaker of salt in your hand, vanish it, and reproduce it. No TT or tips. This is accomplished with a cheap, easy-to-build homemade gimmick made from objects in almost every home on the planet. The build takes about 5 minutes.
