Visual card to paper money transposition.

The performer shows a card and with one quick movement, the card has changed to a paper money bill. The usual supplies and arts and crafts for gaffing playing cards are required to make the gimmick.

A thread that penetrates stuff, your hand, your thumb, a playing card ...

The performer shows a piece of thread that hangs down from his hand. A playing card is held with the other hand behind the thread. With one smooth motion, the thread penetrates the card and is suddenly behind the playing card. It is hard to believe your eyes.

The gimmick is easy to make and there are no bad angles. This looks as good from the back as it does from the front.

A.C.A.A.N. effects are a genre of effects now considered classics in card magic and mentalism, ever since David Berglas, who precisely first proposed a legendary version of it, called it "Any card At Any Number."

The magician draws a coke can on the back of a playing card. With a wave of his hand, the card changes to a real coke can.

Please note that this only works from a very narrow viewing angle and thus can only be successfully performed when a camera is between the performer and the spectator which allows precise control of the viewing direction. The gimmick is easy to make.

The impossible appearance of a pen in a bottle.

Show an empty plastic bottle and suddenly a big sharpie pen materializes inside the bottle. Dump the pen out and show it.

Note that this has very bad angles and can only successfully be performed in front of a camera or one stationary viewer. Great for YouTube and video chats but not an item performable with a live audience. Gimmick is easy to make.

Determine the card selected and the sum cast with two dice in a novel and very deceptive way.

You show a deck of cards, shuffle it and while you look away the spectator throws the two dice, adds the points shown, removes that many cards and remembers the lowest card in the removed packet. The dice are covered so that the performer can't see them. Now comes the unusual thing. The removed packet is inserted by the spectator somewhere in the middle of the pack. Then the spectator cuts and with a rosetta shuffle the cards are shuffled. This is immediately followed by any number of riffle and...

Show an individual play card, wave your hand in front of it, and have it vanish. Then in the same fashion, it reappears. The gimmick is super easy to make. Watch your angles.

The 21st Century Threads is an amazing effect that utilizes imaginary super elastic, incredibly strong, invisible threads to pull a silk from one hand, instantly around the performer's back and into the opposite hand. This is a new self-working card trick: the viewer will choose two cards, to represent the law and by means of which he will get two more cards, lost in the deck, which he will then divide into four bundles. Over the course of two separate stages, the spectator himself will insert the "sheriffs" within the deck, as arbitrarily as possible. The decks will be shuffled, cut and completed but, despite a thousand adversities, the two "sheriff" cards will succeed in tracking down and capturing the two "outlaws," generated by the combination of the first two cards, chosen at random.

A spectator chooses a card that magically moves to a phone, leaving the spectator holding a blank card. The transfer is reversed and the card vanishes from the phone and the spectator is again holding his card.

You will need an App called MxPlayer to accomplish this plus a bit of sleight of hand. Several short MP4 files, to create the appearance and vanish of a card face from the phone's screen, are included in the download.

A demonstration of cheating.

The spectator chooses four cards totally at random and puts them face down between two red Kings who are face up. Then the spectator puts this little packet on top of the deck. After the magician cuts and shuffles only one time, the cards between the red Kings now are the four aces! With only one shuffle, the magician manages to switch the four indifferent cards with 4 aces.

A spectator-selected card turns face-up in the deck.

Have a spectator freely select a card from a deck. There is no force. The spectator remembers the card. The magician inserts the card into the deck. When the deck is fanned the card has turned face-up (or face-down if you are showing the deck from faces.)

You will need to be able to do a half-pass. A short card helps in the sleight-of-hand proceedings.

This lightweight mental effect is suitable for close up, parlor or even stage and is very simple to do. A map is shown which has six named locations marked on it. A spectator mentally selects one and records his choice on a small card which is concealed in an envelope. Cards bearing the names of the six locations are shuffled by a spectator and placed by him entirely at random into six envelopes which are then given out to audience members. Despite all this, a prediction shown at the start leads to the correct person holding the envelope which contains the spectator's chosen island location. ...

Ring effects are visual and beautiful. Introducing an ultra-visual illusion. The finger ring jumps from finger to finger as if it were alive. The effect that deceived hundreds of spectators and magicians will always be at your fingertips.

Supplies may need to be purchased to perform this effect but many magicians will have everything at home. There is no construction or arts and crafts necessary, it is as simple as putting the necessary items together.

The vanish is accomplished with a pull. The details of the hookup and presentation are taught in the video.

If you enjoy simple to do magic that never requires a re-set and which you can do anytime, anywhere, you will love this two-stage routine using a 10p and a £2 coin. (Any two coins of different sizes can be used for this effect.)

Both coins are borrowed from spectators and placed into your fist. The 10p is openly removed, shown freely and genuinely placed away in your pocket. Instantly it jumps back to your hand to join the £2.

Then the £2 is removed, but instead of both coins reappearing in the hand, they both vanish and are produced from the pocket. Very clean handling, easy to do,...

This effect is intriguing. Not only will the magician find two chosen cards under impossible conditions, but there will be a series of incredible and numerous predictions. Look at the full performance. The effect is simple to perform and semi-automatic. We are certainly within the magician-fooler category. Everything is done with a normal deck of cards.

This is a challenge you can win every time. This is 100% gimmickless magic. A vault is a safe or lockbox. It holds valuables. I can get the valuables out of the vault even if the spectator is guarding the vault with their hands.

You challenge the spectator that you can get anything out of your closed fist, hand or vault even if their hands protect the top and bottom of your closed fist. There is no way in and no way out!

You make your challenge. If I can get the item out, can I have it? The spectator says, "Sure."...

In this video I walk you slowly through the Loaded Salt Shaker Vanish and Reproduction. You can pour an entire shaker of salt in your hand, vanish it, and reproduce it. No TT or tips. This is accomplished with a cheap, easy-to-build homemade gimmick made from objects in almost every home on the planet. The build takes about 5 minutes.

There are many ring and rope routines in print and there are a whole host of ingenious moves which a performer can use.
