A visual penetration of coin through can.

The performer finishes his / her can of drink and shakes every last drop out. A coin is then shown and placed in the palm of the other hand. The base of the can is impacted on the coin several times and then penetrates the base of the can. The spectators can hear the coin pass through the metal. The coin is inside the can and the spectator can take the coin out and keep both items if they wish.

This is a great little idea combining a common gimmick with a clever move to accomplish a coin penetrating a can - a visual and audible effect.

The selected card is lost in the deck. The magician takes a pencil and stabs through the center of the deck. Every single card is destroyed, but one card remains unharmed, that's the selected card.

A simple and easy, but, effective way of doing the famous, or infamous, Three Card Monte. The effect where three cards are placed on a table and the 'money' card keeps appearing or disappearing!

Using the story-line of Field Marshal Montgomery's attempts, during WWII, to keep the enemy guessing where he was, you use the cards to illustrate the story and allow you to use a very bad pun.

You will need to buy a 'special' card or two to do this effect. But, these cards can be very easily found on the internet or obtained from your local friendly magic dealer. (Or you can make them yourself!) ...

This came about thanks to Larry Jennings' classic effect, "The Visitor". David has always loved that effect. It is impromptu, there is no setup, a borrowed deck can be used, and the effect is stunning. One day, David was playing with the routine, and began to think along the lines of, "Wouldn't it be cool if the selected card could be seen the entire time? What if the spectator could see their card sitting between the two face down cards right up until the very moment that it vanishes?" The answers, of course, are yes! Of course it would be cool. And with The Visitation these things are possible!

Here is...

A blue backed deck is shown. A card is removed, and placed aside. The deck is spread face down. It is seen that all of the cards have blue backs, except for one card which has a red back. Two cards are now very randomly chosen, and their values are added together. Let's assume that the total is "13" (the actual total is up to you!). The deck is turned face up (in every instance) and the cards are dealt one at a time until the 13th (or whatever value was chosen) card is dealt. Let's say that the 13th card is the Queen of Clubs. The deck is now spread face down. Each and every card has a blue...

To many, this will look like the flustration count but different. Many call it the FRUSTRATION count, so here's a good alternative to use in your effects.

This is a signature effect from Peter, containing multiple counts and a surprising ending. This trick involves color changes of both the front of the cards as well as the backs. As a kicker, at the end of the routine you will be able to show four different backs all different from the ones shown to the spectators before.

An impromptu piece of close-up mentalism that uses no gimmicks in which you demonstrate clairvoyance (or mind-reading), then your participant does - and then you finally show that you had predicted everything!

C Through is an effect where you visually push a torn off corner of a spectator's selected card into an empty tic tac box. The spectator can check the corner to confirm that it matches their card.
