These are lecture notes for one of Pavel's lectures. Most of the descriptions are pictorial. Pavel intended this as a memory aid for people who attended his lecture. The descriptions are therefore not necessarily complete or very detailed in all cases.

I attended the Pavel 100% Magic Lecture when he visited Sydney, Australia sometime around 2005. I traveled the 2 hr drive home after the lecture and made sure to jot down notes about the effects that I was impressed with before I retired to bed that night. In hindsight I wish that I had written explanations for all the effects, but it was not to be. So what we have here are 8 items from this lecture explained in my own words. Along with the 100% Magic Lecture 'pictorial memory aid' which contains diagrams of the routines, you should have no trouble following the brilliant thinking behind these eight items.

Milbourne Christopher explains how to do fifty different tricks with one of magic's greatest gimmicks, the Thumb Tip. Tricks are clearly described and illustrated.
Paul Fleming wrote:
The thumb-tip has been exposed so often in books, pamphlets, magazines, and even newspapers, that one might suppose that its usefulness was about ended. But its continued ability to render service, in the face of mistreatment both in print and on magicians' thumbs, is a clear indication of the vitality of this good old fake, which, according to Milbourne Christopher, made its first appearance on the magic scene around...

A selection of some of the best creations by Devin Knight. (Please note that all effects have been released earlier as standalone products and are available individually on Lybrary.com. See product links throughout the product description.)
Improved Tri-Epic Deluxe - this is a clever three or even four way newspaper prediction effect reminiscent of David Copperfield's Graffiti Wall, but more portable and totally suitable for a one man act.

It starts with three stunning effects that appear to be as near to real mindreading as you can get - Almost Real Mindreading Feats. Devin explains little known principles which will enable you to reveal repeatedly which hand a spectator is merely thinking of, to remove the card a spectator simply looked at in a fan, and to name a mentally chosen card...
Excerpt from the Preface:
So it's a mixed bag. But all the tricks have one thing in common; each can be performed to a small audience in the home. One or two (I have "Pseudo-Graphology" and "Question and Answer" especially in mind) are good for performance to a larger audience, as well as to just half a dozen friends.
Every one has been thoroughly tried out and is practical and entertaining. According to your personality and style, I am sure you will find something in this book to entertain your audiences.
In this ebook you will find material that entertains and amazes, but more importantly, it is material that 'mere mortals' can actually do. Two dozen incredible routines. Cards, coins, and parlor/platform material is included.
Nothing is duplicated from Scott's other ebooks, lecture notes, or DVD--with one exception, and that has been greatly expanded and updated.
These routines bear the Guinn trademarks of clever thinking and thoughtful construction, from a man who has been called "one of our best close-up and stand-up performers" (Aldo Colombini, in The Linking Ring) and "one of the best writers in...
This ebook contains routines by
CHARLES HARRISON. Member of the Inner Magic Circle, London. A fine performer who is a master at devising magic dependent upon subtle ideas and misdirection. His "Marvellous Marbles" is one of the finest close-up routines it has been Lewis Ganson's privilege to witness.
HARRY G. FRANKE of America who is well known for the clever ideas he has given to the magical fraternity through the pages of JEAN HUGARD'S excellent monthly magazine. "The Vanishing Lady" described herein is a terrific effect brought about with - just three cards.
CY ENDFIELD. Well known Film Director...
From the introduction:
The tricks described here are for "extempore" showing. They have been specially developed for entertaining fellow diners, within watching distance, around a banquet or dinner table.
To perform "extempore" is not the same as giving a show on the stage. In one's regular program everything is premeditated. Performing to a group around the table is different. To begin with, the tricks must be of the type that could be worked without much ado. They must be short and spontaneous. They must be worked in an "off-hand" manner. Finally, not only in character but in appearance...
An autobiographical history of magic, profusely illustrated with diagrams of magic tricks and photographs of Goldston's career.
From the foreword by J. C. Cannell:
The exposures he makes range from the most spectacular and elaborate illusions to the smallest pocket trick. His book, indeed, is the alpha and omega of magic. He conceals nothing, hides no secrets.
The careful researches which I had to make in order to tell the public exactly how Houdini achieved his escapes and performed illusions which seemed like miracles, led me to think that I had exhausted all the resources of magic. But,...
The Handbook for Impromptu Magic
Magic enabled by double sided tape.
This ebook will show you how to place a coin at the tips of your fingers and, in full view of the audience, cause that coin to vanish in an instant! All this without the use of a pull. You may shake your hands vigorously to prove that nothing is contained therein. You then proceed to produce coin after coin from mid-air - you will produce a number of coins, not just one. With this new method of palming it is possible for the magician to work in short sleeves (or, for that matter, with no sleeves at all). You can show both hands convincingly empty and at...
From the Preface:
The object of this little book is to supply the amateur conjurer with a simple text-book on his art, leading him by graduated stages from the first principles to a degree of proficiency at which he will be able to produce magical effects on the stage or in the drawing-room.
The Appendix sets forth clearly the construction of the various pieces of apparatus referred to in the text, so that the amateur will be able either to construct these himself or get them cheaply made.
Lastly, the author would like to add, that most of the tricks and illusions contained in this...
A historical, extremely rare video: the only video ever released of one of Chicago's most beloved bartender/magicians, the "Great Heba Haba Al."
"How wonderful that this footage has been preserved for the charm, the methods, and the trick selection of the man Jay Marshall described as "the grandfather of bar magic in Chicago" are there to be studied and learned from. Even when you know what he is doing, and if you know card magic you will, he will still amaze you with the ease and the confidence with which he does it. Remembering that he may have had three tricks going on at once will only...
From the Introduction:
Remember that the average act, which can be acquired by anyone without much practice, is seen on the Halls so often that one becomes absolutely bored with it. They are known in the profession as “Penny a bunch Acts.” Now with a little application, you can stand apart from this bunch, and be a specialist, so this book is offered in the sincere hope that you will be able to glean an act from it, and we tell you to do so in all confidence, as the material is original, and has seldom, if ever, been used in public.
